"Eastern Exposure" is an exhibit of work by the advanced students of EOU photography professor Kerry Loewen and ceramics professor Peter Johnson. The exhibition highlights the accomplishments of both the Advanced Ceramics and Studio Photography classes. The show will run at Satellite Gallery in La Grande, March 19 - April 3, 2009.

This exhibit is yet another example of the exemplary work being produced by the students and faculty of Eastern Oregon University. In an effort to connect La Grande's downtown community and the University, Satellite Gallery is working with EOU to bring the best of their art downtown.

Advanced Ceramics focuses on the development of wheel throwing skills and the implementation of each student's artistic voice in the creation of hand-made pottery.

Studio Photography students learn to place every light and reflection in a controlled environment. The exhibited photographs were all preconceived then "constructed" in the studio.
