Wow! Last weekend was a big change in weather for northeast Oregon. It snowed a few flakes even down in the Powder Valley. Big, wet flakes, mixed with fat raindrops made getting a stock trailer load of firewood at the neighbor's ranch a damp and cold activity. However, when I went for my Monday morning walk, the mountains were absolutely beautiful with their fresh dusting of powdered sugar snow, the sky was bright blue, and the sharp, crisp air was fresh and invigorating. And I get to live here!
