Using Search

Remember that you can always use the Search box to find previously-posted articles or photos.  Just search for any text string that might match up with something entered in the Title or Description fields (which means that we  will have to be conscientious about titling and/or describing the photos!).

Searches are NOT case-sensitive, which means that you don't have to worry about being exact if you don't know whether to specify upper- or lower-case.

Also, everything is automatically archived by date, and can also be found by using the daily calendar links or the monthly or year archive links, all accessible from the side panel of the blog pages.

Using Our RSS Feed

If you have an RSS reader, you can subscribe to our RSS feed, so that the news in this blog comes automatically to your desktop!  Just paste this URL (if your reader doesn't grab it automatically) into your feed reader software: http://news.visitlagrande.com/blog/index.xml.

You can also find the URL for the RSS Feed by mousing over the "Subscribe to RSS Feed" or "Syndicate" link near the top right, or by right-clicking the RSS link and select the "Copy Link Location" or equivalent for your particular browser.

(If you want to set up a RSS reader -- also known as a feed reader -- you can find a wealth of information and freely downloadable readers, such as the free Google Reader,  by doing an Internet search on this topic, or you will find that the most recent browsers, such as Firefox 3 or Internet Explorer 7, have the built-in ability to read RSS feeds.)
